Rent the Museum's Community Room

To combine a visit to the Museum with an exclusive event for your guests, our Community Room is available for rental any Saturday or Sunday between 2 and 5 p.m. The room is a great option for children's birthday parties, bar mitzvahs or bat mitzvahs, anniversary celebrations, or any other gathering of up to 150 people.

The Community Room is a spacious, carpeted room on the first floor of the Museum, conveniently located near the front entrance. The room is handicapped-accessible and public restrooms and a coatroom are nearby.

For an additional fee, you can arrange for a fun, educational program presented by a member of our education staff to be part of your event. We offer a wide range of lively and intriguing hands-on science demonstrations that can be targeted for a range of ages.

Community Room rental includes:

• Use of a kitchen with two stoves, refrigerator, and dishwasher

• Separate entrance to the Community Room and a loading dock service entrance

• Free parking

• Museum tables and chairs for 125 people.

Weekend Daytime Rental: $150 plus Museum admission*

* If your group numbers over 10 people, you qualify for our discounted admission rate of $7.20/adult and $5.60/child. Museum members are admitted free.
